Flights Resume After Major Delays at D.C. and Baltimore Airports

Residual delays still expected into Saturday evening. Travelers encouraged to check with their airline at BWI, Dulles and Reagan National.

Flights have resumed after a computer outage at an air traffic center in Leesburg caused significant delays at D.C. area airports

Flights were delayed for several hours at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Reagan National and Dulles International, with the outage stopping flights bound for those airports, as well.

The issue involved a computer system failure at 20 high-altitude traffic control centers, according to USA Today.
