Mama Cat Abandoned In Garage With Her Kittens, Needs New Home

A cat mother was abandoned in a garage with her kittens. The Prince George's County SPCA is trying to find a home for this feline family.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD โ€” Patch recently partnered with the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County. Each week, we will bring you the cutest pets looking for homes. Here are this week's adorable adoptables. Click on their names for more information.


Johnny

Personality: I am the most adventurous, gregarious, peopleโ€“loving kitten in my family. I spend my time exploring my environment, jumping over barricades and wrestling with my siblings.

Hobbies: Playing with brothers and sister. Exploring. Eating food.

Favorite Toy: Cat wand and peekaboo box (cardboard box with holes cut in it).

Favorite Napping Spot: In a pile with my siblings.

How I Came To The SPCA: My mom and my siblings and I were abandoned in a garage when our people moved away. Some good people called the PGSPCA and we were saved!

Dream Family: A family that is looking for an interactive cat with lots of time to play and give me love.


Twylla

Personality: I am super sweet. I know humans and am quick to warm up to strangers. I love pets. I like to explore and play. I love chasing the cat wand.

Hobbies: A good solid pet session and nap. Running after toys and wands.

Favorite Toy: A good cat wand.

Favorite Napping Spot: Any place warm, e.g. enveloped in blankets, or your lap.

How I Came To The SPCA: My babies and I were abandoned in a garage when our people moved away. Some good people called the PGSPCA and we were saved!

Dream Family: A patient family who understands I am still quite young and need to be played with and cared for.


The local SPCA is a volunteer-run organization that does not operate a physical shelter. Volunteers house the animals in their own homes until they are adopted.
