Man Arrested In PG County Homicide: Police
Police charged a Virginia man with the deadly shooting in Fort Washington last week.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD -- Police have made an arrest in the deadly shooting in Fort Washington on Halloween last week.
Police arrested 30-year-old Lindsey Jeffries of Lorton, Va., and charged him with first and second degree murder, as well as related charges, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police were called to the 9100 block of Friar Road at around 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 31 to a report of a shooting and found 57-year-old Jeffrey Hunter dead from gunshot wounds, the report states.

"The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect and the victim, who were known to each other, were involved in a confrontation during which the suspect shot the victim," the report adds.
Jeffries is being held without bond.
