SUITLAND, MD — A Temple Hills man was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Suitland, police announced Thursday. Milton Wright, 24, is charged with first and second degree rape, home invasion, assault and other related charges.

At about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, officers were notified of a sexual assault that took place in an apartment in the 3000 block of Parkway Terrace Dr. Detectives believe the victim was followed off of a Metro bus at the Suitland Metro Station and then to her apartment building, police said.

Once Wright was able to get inside of the building, he forced his way into her apartment where he sexually assaulted her, police said. Wright then fled on foot.
