Man Arrested In Shooting Death Of District Heights​ Acquaintance: Prince George's Police

A 31-year-old District Heights man has been charged in connection to the shooting death of his acquaintance, police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 31-year-old District Heights man has been charged in connection to the shooting death of 28-year-old Dante Williams of District Heights.

On May 13 at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers received a report of a shooting in the 6100 block of Blacksmith Drive in the unincorporated section of District Heights. The victim was found outside the home with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, according to Prince George's Police.

A preliminary investigation showed that 31-year-old JC Littlejohn III of District Heights shot Williams during an argument. The suspect and victim knew each other. Littlejohn has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
