Man Charged In Missing Friend's Shooting Death: Prince George's Police
A Fort Washington man has been charged in connection to his missing friend's shooting death whose remains haven't been found, police say.
FORT WASHINGTON, MD — The remains of a young man reported missing in April 2023 have yet to be recovered. But his friend has been arrested and charged with his death.
On April 15, Prince George's police officers were called to a home in the 12000 block of Nevin Lane in Fort Washington for a report of a missing man, 20-year-old Damion Myers of Fort Washington.
Myers' family told police officers they had not seen or heard from him since April 14 when he left home after hitching a ride with his friend, 23-year-old Parrish Goode of Fort Washington. Officers opened a missing person investigation for Myers and within the week, discovered evidence indicating Myers had been fatally shot inside Goode's car. According to police, Myers' remains have not yet been located.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Goode Dec. 21 who was taken into custody Dec. 27. At the time of his arrest, Goode admitted to shooting Myers and disposing his body in the Fort Washington area. He has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges, the police department reported.
