Bladensburg Man Charged In Store's Armed Robbery, 2nd Suspect Sought: Police

A 52-year-old Bladensburg man has been charged in connection to the armed robbery of a store. A 2nd suspect is on the loose, police say.

LANDOVER HILLS, MD — A 52-year-old Bladensburg man has been charged in connection to the recent robbery of a Landover Hills convenience store located in the 6600 block of Annapolis Road Jan. 2.

Prince George's police officers were called to the convenience store around 11:20 p.m. Jan. 2 for a report of two suspects robbing the business. The suspects threatened the employee before stealing multiple items from the store, the police department said.

Lamont Wilks of Bladensburg has been charged in connection to the armed robbery. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying his accomplice. A cash reward is available. Anyone with information about this case who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2830.
