A Landover man has been convicted in the fatal shooting of the mother of his children who he had strangled two weeks prior.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Landover man charged with murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend has been convicted.
Harry Lindsey was accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend, 29-year-old Sharita Cristwell of Bladensburg, during an argument on July 5, 2025, at a home located in the 700 block of Stretford Way in Landover.
Cristwell had arrived at the home with couple's two children. Lindsey’s mother took the children out of the home to attend a family gathering, leaving him and Cristwell in the home together. Lindsey asked another adult present in the home to leave, then confronted Cristwell, and shot her twice, according to prosecutors.
