Man In Critical Condition After Fire Sweeps Through Home
Three firefighters were injured and a man is in critical condition after a fire broke out at the man's home.

BOWIE, MD — A 68-year-old man trapped inside his burning home reportedly is in critical condition after being rescued by firefighters early Tuesday morning. Three Prince George's County firefighters also were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Firefighters were called to a home located in the 1100 block of Winding Brook Court for a report of a house on fire and someone still inside. Crews found advanced fire consuming the two-story single-family home when they arrived, according to the fire department.
Rescuers busted their way into the home and found the 68-year-old man. They were able to free him from the burning home right as a section of the roof partially collapsed. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the fire department reported. The three injured firefighters were taken to the hospital and released.
