Man Dies After Being Hit By Scooter: Prince George's Police

A man has died after being hit by a scooter. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A man has died after he was hit by a scooter in the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The man's name will be released once his family is notified.

A preliminary investigation indicates the rider of a scooter was traveling eastbound on Greenbelt Road, when for reasons under investigation, hit the pedestrian in the roadway. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the police department.
