Man Found Dead In Prince George's County Woods: Police
Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that left an unidentified man dead in Adelphi Thursday morning.
ADELPHI, MD — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that left an unidentified man dead in Adelphi Thursday morning.
At about 8:10 a.m. Thursday, officers with the Maryland-National Capital Park Police Department responded to the 7800 block of West Park Dr. for the report of an unresponsive male. When they arrived, officers located a victim outside in the woods suffering from stab wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case. The victim’s name will be released once his family is notified, police said. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
