Man Gropes College Student, Exposes Himself On Street And In Hallway: UMD Police

A stranger groped a college student then exposed himself on the street and later on in a hallway in front of another victim, police say.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — A college student at the University of Maryland reported a man exposing himself to her after inappropriately touching her. The same man exposed himself later on before a second victim in a hallway.

The first incident happened Sunday shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Tulane Drive. The woman told police that after she was touched inappropriately by the suspect, she walked away but the suspect grabbed her again. That's when she turned around and saw that he had exposed himself. She left and called police.

The second incident happened Monday shortly after 10 a.m. A woman told police she saw a man exposing himself inside a hallway on campus. Once he'd been seen, the man took off.

The suspect in both incidents is in his 30s, stands approximately 5'8 to 5'9 with a skinny build, according to witnesses. He was last seen wearing a dark gray or black jacket, black pants with a white stripe down the leg and white shoes.
