Man With Gunshot Wounds Found In Forestville Parking Lot: Police

Police are offering $25,000 for information leading to an arrest.

FORESTVILLE, MD -- Police are asking for the public's help after discovering a man with gunshot wounds in a parking lot in Forestville on Wednesday.

Police were called to the 3200 block of Walters Lane for a shooting at around 11 a.m. on May 16, and they discovered 19-year-old TyJuan Lawrence of District Heights in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police don't think it was a random crime, and are trying to identify a suspect.

Anyone with information can call 301-772-4925, or 1-866-411-TIPS if they wish to remain anonymous. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and conviction.
