Man Killed In Temple Hills Hit-And-Run Incident: Prince George's Police

A man has been fatally hit in Temple Hills and the driver involved in the incident did not remain on the scene, according to police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Police are searching for the driver they say was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Jan. 13 around noon in Temple Hills.

Prince George's County police officers were called to the 4500 block of Saint Barnabas Road in the Marlow Heights neighborhood of Temple Hills for a report of an unresponsive man in the road. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of an unidentified vehicle was traveling southbound on Saint Barnabas Road, when for reasons under investigation, they struck the pedestrian. The driver did not remain on the scene. Investigators are working to determine the make and model of the striking vehicle, the police department stated.
