Man Stabbed to Death in Seat Pleasant: Police

Police don't think this was a random crime and are offering a reward to anyone who knows anything about it.

SEAT PLEASANT, MD — Police are searching for a man who stabbed another man to death in Seat Pleasant Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the 6400 block of Central Avenue at around noon on Feb. 7 to a report of a stabbing. They arrived to find 34-year-old Jamal Barnes of Capitol Heights with trauma to his upper body. He was pronounced dead shortly after at the hospital, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Police don't think this was a random crime, and are offering up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The report adds: " Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
