Man Stabs Walmart Employee Multiple Times
A man has been arrested and faces murder charges after he stabbed a Walmart employee who greeted the man when he walked into the store.
BOWIE, MD — A man armed with a knife walked into a Walmart in Bowie Thursday night and stabbed a store employee.
According to Bowie Police, the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. at the Walmart located in the 3300 block of Crain Highway. Officers arrived to find a store employee with stab wounds to his head, back and arm. He was treated on site and taken to the hospital.
The investigation indicates that the suspect walked into the store, was greeted by the store employee who offered help, then the suspect pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed him, police said.

It appears the suspect and employee knew each other. The suspect, identified as Tyler King, was found at his home and arrested, Bowie Police reported.
King was taken to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro and charged with first- and second-degree murder.
