Man Struck, Killed by Car at Upper Marlboro Shopping Center: Reports

BREAKING: One report indicates the victim may have been armed. Police are investigating the scene.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A man was struck and killed by a car in an Upper Marlboro shopping center parking lot on Monday morning, and one report suggests the victim was armed and may have meant the driver harm.

Multiple reports indicate that Prince George's County Police are investigating the incident in the 5500 block of Brown Station Road.

Brad Bell of ABC 7 tweeted at 10:21 a.m. that it may have been a situation of self-defense "as driver runs over armed man." The men apparently knew each other. The driver remained on the scene.
