Man Struck, Killed In Langley Park: Police
Police say the man was hit while trying to cross New Hampshire Avenue.

LANGLEY PARK, MD -- A man has died after being struck by a car while trying to cross a street in Langley Park Saturday night, police say.
Police were called to the 7900 block of New Hampshire Avenue at around 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 22 to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
The victim, 43-year-old Domingo Hernandez-Vasquez, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died of his injuries on Monday, the report states.

The driver of the car remained on the scene. Police believe the driver was traveling northbound on New Hampshire Avenue when the vehicle struck Hernandez-Vasquez, who was apparently in or near the crosswalk but walking against the pedestrian signal.
