Man Walking on Highway Hit By Two Cars: Police
Prince George's County authorities are trying to determine why an Oxon Hill man left his running vehicle on a busy road.

Investigators are trying to determine why a man got out of his running car on a Prince George’s County Highway and was on foot when he was hit by two vehicles.
The Prince George’s County Police Department says Jonathan Richard Green, 30, of Pitt Lane in Oxon Hill died Monday night in the accident. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw the crash or has information in the case.
Officers responded to the 8400 block of Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington about 10:45 p.m. Monday for a collision involving a pedestrian. Green was found in the roadway suffering from critical injuries; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Green stopped his car on Indian Head Highway and got out of the vehicle. The car was running and the doors were locked when police arrived at the accident scene.
Green was struck by two southbound cars on the road. Both drivers remained on the scene.
