Oxon Hill Man Who Met Woman Online Now Charged With Her Murder: Prince George's Police

An Oxon Hill man who met a woman online has been charged with her murder after they met in person, according to Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 33-year-old Oxon Hill man who met a woman online then made plans to meet her in person at her apartment has now been charged with her murder.

On Feb. 4 shortly after 8:30 p.m., Prince George's police officers arrived at an apartment located in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive for a call about an unresponsive woman. She was found with trauma and pronounced dead on the scene.

An investigation revealed that Redd had met the woman, 38-year-old Andra Sweeper of Baltimore, online and the two had arranged to meet in person at Sweeper's apartment where her body was found.

Redd has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
