Massive Fire Destroys 11 Units, Displaces 30 People In PG County

The Temple Hills blaze sent two to the hospital and required smoke inhalation treatment for five residents.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD -- A two-alarm fire at an apartment complex in Temple Hills on Tuesday destroyed 11 units and displaced 30 residents.

The fire broke out in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive in the morning. Firefighters had it under control at around 8 a.m.

A total of five residents were treated for smoke inhalation, and two were transported to the local hospital. The residents had minor injuries.
