Memorial Day Parade Returns To Bowie For 2022, Starts At 11 AM And Ends At Acorn Hill Park

BOWIE, MD — The Memorial Day Parade in Bowie will return for 2022. The patriotic parade will start at 11 a.m. and everyone is encouraged to wear red, white and blue plus bring their flags. Cheer along with the Bowe State University Band, Bowie High School Marching Band, John F. Nicoll Pipes & Drums, Panquility Steel Drum Band, Bowie veterans organizations, Bowie Boys and Girls Club and many more groups marching in this year’s parade.

The parade will begin at the Bowie High School Annex (3021 Belair Dr.), continue down Belair Drive toward 450, turn right onto Sussex Lane and then take another right onto Stonybrook Drive where participants will march toward Acorn Hill Park. The parade ends after turning onto Sage Lane.

View the parade from the reviewing stand at Acorn Hill Park or bring a chair and watch from Sussex Lane Park or anywhere else along the parade route. Concessions stands and restrooms will be available at Acorn Hill Park.
