Missing Teen's Body Found in Anacostia River
District Police say the 16-year-old was pulled from the river July 3; his identity was released Wednesday.

The body of a Prince George’s County teenager missing since June 30 was found several weeks ago in the Anacostia River, authorities said Wednesday.
Oludumare Obasuie Ayodeji, 16, of District Heights, was last seen about 7 a.m. on June 30 in the 1900 block of Altamonte Avenue in Forestville.
His body was recovered July 3 by the District police department’s harbor unit, The Washington Post reports.

Ayodeji’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine cause of death. The report isn’t complete, but authorities told the Post there is no indication of foul play in Ayodeji’s death.
A fundraiser on the GoFundMe website to help Ayodeji’s family with funeral expenses had garnered about $5,100 in donations Thursday afternoon.
