Murder-Suicide in College Park: Man Kills Wife, Son Before Turning Gun on Himself, Police Say

Police think 57-year-old Nasir Siddique killed his wife at their home before heading to the University of Maryland to kill his son.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — A teenager and his mother are dead after a Bel Air man killed both of them and then turned the gun on himself, according to police.

The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a domestic murder-suicide in College Park near the University of Maryland campus. Police found 19-year-old Farhad Siddique and his father, 57-year-old Nasir Siddique, in a car in a parking lot in the 8100 block of 48th Avenue, both dead of gunshot wounds, according to the police report.

Police found a weapon in the vehicle. They believe that the father shot his son before turning the weapon on himself.

Police are also investigating the murder of Siddique's wife in Harford County. They believe that Siddique first killed his wife at their home, and then traveled to College Park to kill their son.
