National Harbor Lights Capital Wheel Blue For Slain Officer

Cpl. Mujahid Ramzziddin was gunned down while protecting his neighbor Wednesday.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD -- The huge Capital Wheel at National Harbor shined a deep blue Wednesday evening in honor of the Prince George's County police officer who had been slain just hours before.

Cpl. Mujahid Ramzziddin was shot and killed in Brandywine while protecting his neighbor, the estranged wife of the suspect, who was later confronted and killed by police.

"The @capitalwheel is blue in memory of Officer Mujahid Ramzziddin," National Harbor's official Twitter account tweeted. "Thank you for your service. Our thoughts are w/ your friends and family."
