National Night Out Celebrated Across Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Numerous communities are holding National Night Out events Tuesday across Prince George's County.

In Greenbelt, law enforcement and first responders will mingle with the community from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beltway Plaza Main, Lakeside North, Windsor Green, Hunting Ridge and Greenbriar.

In Hyattsville, first responders and authorities will celebrate National Night Out starting at 6 p.m. at Driskell Park with a kids' inflatable obstacle course, foam party, snow cones, food, vendors and more.

The Bowie Police Department will be a part of National Night Out starting at 6 p.m. at Allen Pond Park with food, fun and activities. There will be free hamburgers, hot dogs and ice pops, games, inflatables and rides, as well as live entertainment. Public safety displays will be set up and leader will educate others about youth programs, health resources and social services.

In Laurel, first responders will meet community members at 6 p.m. at Granville Gude Park for police demonstrations, food, music, dancing and more.
