NE Washington Man Shot to Death; $25K Reward Offered

Prince George's County Police say the homicide in Capitol Heights was not a random attack.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for leads in the shooting death of a Washington, D.C., man, authorities said Monday.

The Prince George’s County Police Department says Gilbert Hall III, 45, of Lyman Place in Northeast Washington, was killed Saturday afternoon. Detectives do not believe it was a random shooting.

Police found Hall outside a building in the 300 block of Addison Road South about 3:40 p.m. He died a short time later at a hospital.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and suspect in Hall’s death.
