Nephew Fatally Shoots Uncle During Argument In Greenbelt: Prince George's Police

An argument between family members escalated to where a nephew fatally shot his uncle, according to the Prince George's Police Department.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 26-year-old Greenbelt man has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of his uncle, 44-year-old Steven Mouring of Suitland.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, on March 30 shortly before 2 p.m., officers were called to the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road for a report of a shooting. They found Mouring in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers found the victim's nephew, Daquan White, running from the scene. He was taken into custody and what police believe to be the murder weapon was recovered. According to the police department, White shot Mouring during an argument. He has been charged with first- and second-degree murder along with related charges.
