No Charges Filed Against Homeowner in Fatal Shooting of Maryland Firefighter: Police
The homeowner who police say shot and killed a Prince George's County firefighter has been released from custody.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD - The homeowner who police say shot three people in Temple Hills Friday night has been released from custody, police said.
No charges have been filed against the man shot two firefighters, killing 37-year-old firefighter/paramedic John Ulmschneider, police said. Kevin Swain, 19, a Morningside volunteer firefighter was also shot but is expected to survive. The homeowner also shot the family member who made the initial 911 call. The family member sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The department said on its Facebook page that the shooting happened about 8 p.m. at 5007 Sharon Road in Temple Hills.
