Nominations Sought For Bowie's 26th Annual Beautification Awards Program Through June 24

BOWIE, MD — The city of Bowie, in partnership with Soroptimist International of Bowie-Crofton, is accepting nominations for the 26th annual Beautification Awards Program.

Nominations are being sought in the following categories:

• Distinguished residential whole yard landscaping/ gardening (house/townhouse)

• Distinguished front, back, or side yard landscaping/ gardening

• Distinguished specialty garden (i.e. Patio garden, Japanese, Butterfly, etc.)

• Distinguished wildlife habitat

• Distinguished business landscaping/gardening

• Distinguished school (public or private) landscaping/gardening

To nominate someone’s yard or landscape, go to www.cityofbowie.org/beautification. The deadline for submissions is June 24.
