TEMPLE HILLS, MD — An officer personally delivered a pizza he found in a crashed delivery car, the Prince George's County Police Department announced Tuesday.
Authorities wrote that Officer Toms responded to an accident where the driver abandoned their car. He searched the vehicle and found a pizza delivery bag with a fresh pie inside, a Facebook post explained.
The write-up mentioned Toms contacted the customer, who had been waiting for an hour and a half. Toms then brought the pizza to the hungry local, officials shared.
