Olive Garden Manager Recognized for Leadership, Success
Justin Tennant was honored, along with 38 other general managers from over 800 Olive Garden restaurants.
Justin Tennant, general manager of the Olive garden in Hyattsville, 3480 East West Highway, was recently awarded Darden Restaurants’ Diamond Club status.
Each year, top performing managers from Darden’s restaurant brands are honored for “outstanding results by showing strong and inspiring leadership while also achieving top financial performance.”
Tennant was one of 38 general managers from more than 800 Olive Garden restaurants in North America to receive the honor. He has been working with the restaurant chain since he was a freshman in college and started as a busser.

“I’ve been working a long time with Olive Garden and it was great to hear my hard work has finally paid off,” Tennant told Patch in a phone interview.
He has been with the company for more than 11 years, working at multiple locations, and has been the general manager for the Hyattsville Olive Garden for about three and a half years.

“Justin is an exceptional leader who values every team member and guest,” said Dave George, President of Olive Garden, according to a press release. “He is committed to being a role model to his team by consistently going above and beyond to provide for his guests.
