Outdoor PGC Park And Rec Activities Canceled July 10, Cooling Centers And Pools Open

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — All outdoor programming has been canceled for July 10 due to extreme heat, officials announced. The Wonderful World of Watkins Amusement Complex will close at 2 p.m. today, as well. Athletic fields have closed but indoor facilities are open and indoor programming will continue as scheduled.

All cooling centers and indoor and outdoor pools will remain open and operate under regular scheduled hours, county officials said.
