Oxon Hill Murder Not Random Attack: Police

Prince George's County Police say a Washington, D.C., man was shot and killed Saturday night. They are asking for leads from the public.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder that occurred in Oxon Hill Saturday night, which investigators do not believe was a random crime.

Police were called to the 5000 block of Glassmanor Drive about 11:50 p.m. Saturday for a shooting. At the scene, officers found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The victim is identified as Kenneth Antoine Jones, 36, of the 2700 block of Wade Road in Southeast, Washington, D.C.
