PA Man Rammed MD Troopers With His Vehicle, Faces Charges: Police
A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection to the assault of two Maryland State Troopers when leaving an illegal car rally.
GLENARDEN, MD — A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection to assaults carried out on two Maryland State Troopers during illegal car rally events in Prince George’s County.
On Nov. 16, 2025, investigators with the Maryland Car Rally Task Force saw a black Chrysler 300 without registration plates being driven by a man wearing a black mask at the intersection of MD 704 and Glenarden Parkway in Glenarden.
When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver of the Chrysler fled the scene, hitting a Maryland state trooper who was outside of his vehicle. The trooper was uninjured in the incident. An alert for the vehicle was broadcast, according to the Maryland State Patrol.

Shortly thereafter, police spied the same vehicle at a gas station along Crain Highway in Bowie. Investigators assigned to the Maryland Car Rally Task Force attempted to stop the vehicle again. The driver hit another Maryland state trooper who was outside of his vehicle and fled the scene. The trooper was taken to a local hospital and later released.
Investigators interviewed eyewitnesses and learned that the driver was Isaiah Vega, 19, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On March 23 around 8:30 p.m., Vega was arrested in Prince George’s County and taken to the Department of Corrections for processing.
Vega has been charged with first- and second-degree assault, and assault on a law enforcement officer. He is currently being held without bond in Prince George’s County.
