Participants Sought For 2024 Bowiefest Planned For June 1

BOWIE, MD — Make plans to attend Bowiefest this year, which has been scheduled for June 1 at Allen Pond Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Organizers are searching for groups to be a part of the festivities. Local non-profit groups, environmental and civic organizations, non-profit and commercial food vendors, and arts and craft vendors are invited to apply for a space at the event. Spaces are limited, so apply early. The registration deadline falls on April 5.

Entertainment acts will perform on both the main amphitheater stage and a smaller stage near the boathouse throughout the day. Any groups based in Bowie that would like to perform should email mcorley@cityofbowie.org for consideration.

The Business Expo, sponsored by the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, will be held in the Bowie Ice Arena at the same time as Bowiefest and will showcase many local and regional companies.
