Pedestrian Dies After Fort Washington Collision: Police
A Fort Washington pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk, police said. He died soon after at an unnamed hospital, officers added.
FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Police said a Fort Washington pedestrian died after a vehicle struck him Saturday while he was using a crosswalk. Officers identified the victim as 27-year-old Quintin Gaston.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. on southbound Indian Head Highway at Livingston Road, authorities noted. Medics took the victim to an unnamed hospital where he died soon after, officials explained. An incident report informed that the driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene and was not hurt.
