Pedestrian Killed On Beltsville Street: Police
The 64-year-old Adelphi man was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by a car, authorities said.

An Adelphi man died Tuesday when he was hit by a car while walking across a street in Beltsville, according to Prince George’s County Police.
The victim was identified Wednesday as Huan Wang, 64, of Bornedale Drive in Adelphi. Wang was not in a crosswalk when he was hit as he tried to cross Powder Mill Road at the intersection with Boxer Road.
Police found Wang in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

The driver remained on the scene. No one inside the car was hurt.
