Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run in Oxon Hill

Victim was standing in the middle of the road, according to Prince George's County Police. Driver left the scene.

Investigators are hoping that someone recognizes a car possibly involved in a fatal hit and run Tuesday night in Oxon Hill.

The car believed to be involved is a gray or white Ford Mustang witha ricing stripe. It would possibly have front-end damage.

Prince George’s County Police units responded at 11:30 p.m. to the 6600 block of Livingston Road regarding a victim with critical injuries.

The victim, 60, of no fixed address was taken to an area hospital where he died a short time later.

It’s believed that the victim was standing in the roadway when he was hit by the car as it was heading northbound on Livingston Road.

The victim was not in a crosswalk, according to police. The driver did not stop.

It was not clear whether the victim’s family had been notified, so Patch is not identifying him in this post.
