Pediatric Doctor's Office Catches On Fire: Prince George's Fire Department
A pediatric/internal medicine physician's office caught on fire this week, prompting its closure. Patients will be treated at other sites.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A fire consumed a doctor's office this week in Riverdale.
Prince George's County firefighters responded to a call about a structure fire at 5804 Baltimore Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. Monday. Crews arrived on the scene to find flames shooting through the roof.
The business belongs to pediatric and internal medicine physician Dr. Richard Lilly. His website notes that the office caught on fire and the location cannot be used due to a "significant amount of damage."

"Thankfully, there were no occupants inside at the time. While we are saddened about this event, our priority remains being available for our patients," Lilly stated on his website.
In the meantime, the practice will operate out of its other locations at 5806 Baltimore Avenue Hyattsville; 5711 Sarvis Avenue Suite 302 Riverdale; and 14300 Gallant Fox Lane Suite 126 Bowie.
