PG County Assist. Principals Accused Of Drinking At Prom: Report
Two assistant principals at a local high school reportedly have been placed on leave.
HYATTSVILLE, MD -- Two assistant principals at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville are accused of drinking at the school's prom last month, according to a report.
The Washington Post reports that Christopher Burrows and Patricia Duffy have been placed on paid leave and are being investigated. They were supposed to act as chaperones at the May 18 prom.
School Principal Carlene Murray is also on paid leave -- not for drinking, but for "another matter," according to the report.
