PG County Police Investigating Shooting After Funeral: Report
A shooting after a funeral happened in front of a Suitland townhome community, seriously injuring one and possibly others, authorities said.
SUITLAND, MD — Prince George’s County Police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday following a funeral for a homicide victim, according to reports.
The shooting happened in front of a townhome community in the 5800 block of Suitland Road near Walls Lane. One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to reports.

Prince George's County Police said the shooting occurred following a large fight. The male shooting victim was located in a nearby car when police discovered he was shot in his upper body. The victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, police said.

Police said they are working to determine how the others sustained their non-life threatening injuries, and what exactly caused the fight.
