PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- The Prince George's County School Board has voted in favor of a resolution that would have students in the county learn about and discuss the Black Lives Matter movement in the classroom, according to a report.
Fox 5 reports that the board passed the resolution, which is called "Black Lives Matter Week of Action in Schools, and it will begin on Monday and continue through the week for all PG County schools.
The school board hopes that such discussions will be beneficial for students and get them talking about social justice issues.
