PG County Suspects Assault, Rob Woman At Virginia Hotel: Police
A woman was robbed by four people at her hotel in Dumfries, VA; the suspects are from Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, and Sparrow Point.
DUMFRIES, VA — Four Maryland residents are in custody after a 20-year-old Kentucky woman was assaulted and robbed early Monday night at her hotel room in Dumfries, Virginia, according to Prince William County Police. The suspects fled in a vehicle before police arrived, but their vehicle was spotted shortly thereafter and the suspects were arrested.
Those arrested are:
- Trevor Alexander Jones, 29, of the 1500 block of Chillum Road in Hyattsville, was charged with robbery, abduction, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and preventing the summoning of law enforcement.
- James Ray Beck, 25, of the 5000 block of East West Highway in Riverdale Park, was charged with robbery, abduction, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and preventing the summoning of law enforcement.
- Kyleen Heather Derry, 23, of the 2800 block of Ross Avenue in Sparrow Point, was charged with robbery, abduction, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and preventing the summoning of law enforcement.
- A 16-year-old male was charged with robbery, abduction and preventing the summoning of law inforcement.
The three adults are being held without bond. The juvenile is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., police arrived at the hotel to investigate a robbery. The victim told police the suspects assaulted money and stole money from her.
