PG County Will Hire 27 New Firefighters With Grant Money: Reports
Prince George's County was awarded a federal grant which will enable them to hire 27 new, full-time firefighters

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Prince George's County was given a federal grant to hire 27 new, full-time firefighters, according to reports.
NBC Washington reports a Federal Emergency Management Agency program gave the $3.56 million grant to the county.
“We trust our first responders to protect our homes and our families,” said U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin. “In turn, we have the responsibility to ensure they have all the resources and people necessary to keep themselves and others safe.”
