PG County Fire Truck Flips On Way To Sunday Morning Fire
Truck 29 from Prince George's County flipped over Sunday morning on its way to a fire in Capital Heights.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- On Sunday, Jan. 5, at about 11:38 a.m. Truck 29 from the Prince George's County Fire Department was responding to the report of a fire on Hil Mar Drive in District Heights when it overturned at Silver Hill Road and Saint Barnabas Road, according to a posting on PGFD's public information Twitter account. No injuries or transports were reported.
Six firefighters were on Truck 29 Sunday when it flipped over, according to PGCFD public information officer Mike Yourishin.
"Having one of our trucks out of commission is not an ideal situation," Yourishin said. "We have surplus apparatus. We have redundancies built in, so that if a piece of apparatus does go down, we've got something to fill the gap."
