PG Police Officer Suspended After Arrest
Authorities say the officer was charged with assault and disorderly conduct Nov. 26 in Atlantic City.

A probationary Prince George’s County Police Officer has had his police powers suspended after the Atlantic City, NJ, Police Department charged him with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Police Officer Steven Varga was off duty at the time of his arrest on Nov. 26, say Prince George’s authorities.
The department’s Special Investigation Response Team has launched an administrative investigation after learning of Varga’s arrest.
