PGCPS Parents, Staff Share First Day Highlights

Students returned to the classroom Tuesday in the Prince George's County Public Schools.

New backpacks were filled and rules explained as students went back to school across Prince George’s County Tuesday morning.

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and Prince George’s County Chief Executive Rushern Baker took part, helping to serve lunch at the new Edward Felegy Elementary School. Schools CEO Kevin Maxwell had breakfast with students and also pulled lunchroom duty.
