Supporters Needed As PGPD Officers Plan To Dive Into Polar Bear Plunge
The Prince George's Police Department will be participating in the annual Polar Bear Plunge supporting Special Olympics and seek support.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George's Police Department will be participating in the annual Polar Bear Plunge again and are looking for financial supporters and fans to cheer from the sidelines.
The event will take place Jan. 31 at 9 a.m. at Sandy Point State Park, 1100 East College Parkway, Annapolis.
So far, they've raised $370 toward their $5,000 goal. This year's overall goal for the 2025 Police Plunge sits at $315,000 with $170,115 of that goal met. To show your support for the PGPD, visit https://support.somd.org/team/611787.
