PNC Bank Closing 8 Branches In Prince George's County Giant Food Stores

PNC Bank will close 26 branches at Giant Food stores in Maryland and Virginia, including three in Montgomery County.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Twenty branches of PNC Financial Services Group Inc. in Maryland will be closing later this summer, including eight in Prince George's County.

The announcement comes after the company already announced that it was closing 135 in-store branches across five states, according to the Washington Business Journal. The branches are scheduled to close on Aug. 18.

"We remain committed to delivering on our purpose to move all forward financially, and we are confident that we can meet or exceed our customers’ needs at nearby branch locations, alongside other available methods of banking," a PNC spokesperson said, according to the WBJ's report.

PNC will be closing its in-store banks at the following locations in Prince George's County:

  • 5500 Silver Hill Road, District Heights
  • 10501 Greenbelt Road, Lanham
  • 6000 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt
  • 3521 East West Highway, Hyattsville
  • 10480 Campus Way S., Largo
  • 1009 Fairlawn St., Laurel
  • 15520 Annapolis Road, Bowie
  • 5700 SE Crain Highway, Upper Marlboro
